Ian Oliver was born in Manchester, England, and grew up in a seaside town in North Wales. His competitive nature was fostered early as a successful cross country and track and field athlete, which later translated into a track record of real estate success.
His journey over to the Americas began in 1995 thanks to a Track and Field scholarship to Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Upon graduation, Ian opted not to return to the United Kingdom and decided to pursue a career in the multifamily housing industry which proved to be the perfect match for his ambitious skillsets with deep-rooted negotiation abilities and a desire to dedicate himself to his clients. Ian has been a leader in the consumer housing and placement industry for over 17 years to-date, beginning with his role at PROMOVE – The Apartment Source, where he performed as the Senior Manager and Online Sales Director at the largest Southeast location. Ian has dedicated himself to creating the best-in-class customer experiences, and in doing so, was able to place over 100,000 renters into homes across Metro Atlanta. Innovating, guiding, and advising at scale was the platform to his success, which ultimately translated into his second-nature ability to serve the residential real estate industry through a seamless transition. With his customer’s needs at the top of his priority list, he works relentlessly to deliver at or above expectations in any given scenario, from one industry to the next, and has already achieved numerous successful milestones along the way including $15M in volume in the year of 2022.
Ian has made immersing himself in the lifestyle and culture of the city not only his job, but his true passion. He currently resides in the Upper Westside neighborhood of Atlanta with his wife, Darah, and his son, Arthur. His passion for Atlanta runs deep, and he cherishes the lifestyle opportunities Atlanta affords him, which includes plenty of visits to all the best restaurants he can find and the best hotels for mini-staycations. In his spare time, you can find him exploring the art scene of Midtown or pursuing his next travel destination.
